United Cash Loans United Cash Loans wouldn't let me repay my loan, have paid $715 for a $300 loan Internet, Nevada |

Yesterday, I got absolutely fed up getting the runaround from UnitedCashLoans. When I was reviewing my online bank statements, I noticed that they withdrew from my bank account twice yesterday, once for $75 and the other for $50. Last month it was $90 and $50. I logged in to the website to review my account statement. As usual, it doesn't work. I initially took out this loan in February. Since then, every time I've tried to access my account information online or schedule a full repayment, I've been prompted to call Customer Service. I spoke to one of the reps in March or April and asked him how I could schedule a full repayment. He told me that I couldn't at the time because the 'deadline' had already passed. I would have to wait until next month. If only I had a record of that conversation. When I spoke to the rep yesterday, she was quick to remind me that in the terms of agreement, it states that they will withdraw 'fees' from the account monthly if the loan is not repaid. I told her that I'm not disputing what is in their contract; what I'm discussing is that I've attempted to pay off this loan completely several times and my attempts have been unsuccessful. She told me that there is no record of me ever calling to try to repay. I told her I have proof of email correspondence with customer service. We went back and forth for a bit, then I was put on hold. She returned to tell me about this late payout request option. If I was to send them $200 before the end of the day, my loan would be considered paid in full. She told me that the balance on the loan is now $300 because the loan is finally in 'repayment'. Apparently the $715 they've received from me so far has all gone to paying fees. She kept on emphasizing that I would have to send the late payout request form that would authorize them to debit me an additional $200 before day's end. Mind you, they had just debited $125 earlier in the day. That was the last straw. Last year, I took out a loan with them and had absolutely no problem paying it back within two months. I am out $400 dollars because of their shady business practices, sham of a website (where you can view all your documents and keep track of your account history), and poor customer service. It would be different if I didn't want to pay back this loan. I've made numerous attempts and they have not cooperated. They are not getting another dime from me. Enough is enough. |
