A musician friend had a dream and upon waking, invented a new type of percussion instrument. Very unique. It has been blessed by an African priest who called it a "healing drum." My friend is not rich; did not have an attorney handle the patent application. He did his research and submitted a patent application on his own, complete with drawings and addressing every part of the application. His money was accepted; the application was not. When he got the application back denied, he asked me to help with revising. We got on the phone with the patent office and we were referred to the online location of specifically which previously approved application to follow as an example. We did this meticulously and re-submitted. My friend has been going around and around with the patent office ever since. The person(s) he has spoken with treat(s) him with rudeness and disrespect, giving him partial to absolutely untrue information; not substantiating their determinations about his supposedly faulty application; even hanging up in his face recently - this was witnessed by a lawyer and a government official's
office who were also on the call. If you are trying to get a patent, stay healthy - you might have a very long, LONG ordeal ahead.
