Two 18 - 20 year old guys came to my door asking if i would like to buy a magazine to help them win

Two 18 - 20 year old guys came to my door asking if i would like to buy a magazine to help them win a trip to Europe or somewhere exotic. They had said it was for a public speaking course/class they had been taking and continued to talk about the reason they were going door to door selling magazines. The one guy continued to agree with EVERYTHING i was saying and continued to try and sell these magazines. I refused at first, but caved in after at least a half hour of talking to the guy. He was very good at speaking and that seems to be the trend with these people, they have very young and exciteable "sales people." After the 30 minutes of chatting with the one guy i proceeded to look at the magazines that they had available. They had about almost every popular magazine available for selection. I knew something was a little fishy about the whole thing so i only bought a 6 month subscription and proceeded to write the "nice young sales men" a check for around $40.00 or so. The check writing process seemed easy enough. The guy politely showed me numerous other checks that people had given him to make sure "this was not a scam" and gave me a receipt along with when i should expect my magazine order. The problem here is i never received my magazine, never got a refund, and my bank account had been charged the $40.00. I continued numerous times to call and e-mail, but it seems to be that everything for this company is fake. The phone number given was "unavailable" the first few tries and once i actually got a computer recording, BUT it was not for or anywhere related to Titan Sales Inc. The e-mails have never been responded back to which i have read is also a trending thing with this company. All in all I would really like this to stop in my town and nationwide. They scammed money from me and many others in my community (judging by the amount of checks he had). This is FOR SURE a scam. Please get rid of these people before they cause more headaches.
