True Net Media selloffauctions.com Misleading deceptive unrighteous Las Vegas, Nevada |

The ordering process is definitely misleading if a few people are reporting the same objection within days of each other (including myself). And that's just counting the one's that know of this site. It needs to be fixed and those complaining should be refunded their money. Plain and simple. I have no doubt the way they treat the complaint process that their intention is to mislead you and take advantage of your error. I did a print screen of the signup page after the fact, one they provided for me to review and the information regarding the cost is on the left and if you don't pay to much attention it looks more like a sample bid form. At the top of the form it asks in big letters "Where do we send your winning Auction?" Naturally you did not place any bid yet because you have not registered yet so you are made to feel (if you are not careful) you are only registering. There is no button that says pay now. The big button at the bottom says CONTINUE though right above in small letters it does say "you are paying now $179". It does say it. I did not see it when I processed the form. And I certainly did not see in big letters that there was no refund, not in little letters either. They asked me if I wanted a refund only to tell me they could not give me one. Why ask? They offered to cancel my account but then explained that I would not get my money back. What's the wisdom in that? Yeah go ahead and cancel my account and just keep my money that'll make it right. That's ridiculous. So to speak to any one in a manner like they want to help you, yes even like they are going to help you well that's just plain misleading and disrespectful too. Which of course leads me to believe the owner certainly cannot be a righteous person to train their people to deal with these matters in this way. Everybody gets fooled from time to time and it's always cause of some embarrassment. We all make mistakes. I've been working on the internet for many years and I got fooled this time but what bothers me most is that they make you feel like you fell into their trap, there is no refund. I had contacted them immediately. I know they hadn't spent the money yet. ;) You know I may never see that money again but I really would rather lose the money than my character and I suppose that's what separates some of us Americans from the likes of the people running that business. It's not my words that damage them, they already are this way and they just don't know it. Is it really worth it to allow people to badmouth you on the internet? Hopefully some other experience will be combined with this one for them to see the errors of their ways. Hey if it's going to cost me $179 to help them realize they've got a problem, maybe they need my help. |
