Towns Auto nashville tn Towns Autos sells Salvaged cars that fall apart... after the |
11th of Dec, 2011 by User837517 |
i purchased a 2009 honda fit from Towns Auto august of 2011. the car had a few minor issues when i purchased it but the dealer stated that any problems i found in the 30 day "warranty" period would be fixed free of charge. withing weeks serious problems were evident. The Air conditioner stopped working. The breaks made/make terrible noises interior repairs kept falling apart driver side doors (front and back) leak The car now smells because of the leaks front end has serious issues mismatched doors mismatched paint rotting carpet (water damage) unstable driving/handling over 40 mph To date my vehicle has been in their "repair" shop 5 times and still most of the same issues are present. in addition to their inability to fix the car, everytime my vehicle is in their shop something comes up missing. every time. cloths tools..... like many of the other complaints ive seen about this dealer, my car too is a salvaged vehicle. they did a very poor job of refurbishing the vehicle. there is mismatched paint, leaky doors and a very strange creaking and shaking of the front end when i go over 40 mph. at this point i dont believe the car is safe to drive in certain conditions like.... rain. so for my personal safety, i park the car when it rains. a few days ago i spoke to the owner (Hamid) about returning the vehicle. i asked for nothing in return; i just wanted to return it. let them keep my down payment, and the extra payments ive made; i was willing to just walk away with nothing. Hamid's reply was " we are towns auto sales, we dont take back/buy back vehicles. Hamid is rude, pompous and close minded. speaking with him is a waste of time. so for now it looks like im stuck with this frankenstein of a car. if i were not concerned about my credit being affected id happily park the car on their lot, give them the keys , and walk home. do yourself a favor, drive on past Towns Auto as fast as you can. do not do Any business with them under any circumstances. |
