To make a long story short, I got charged 18.95 for something I never used or accessed. I never saw any report and I am out $...not a friendly company. I saw the charge on my bank statement just like this ( Reverdir866417679 Draper, UT ) thats it, well as you can see, conveniently, the last # on the contact phone number is not there... coincidence? I think not. So I call my card co. and they can't figure it out either...so I dial what I have of the # and start with 1 for the last digit willing to go up to 9 if need be but luckily got it at 3 1-866-417-6793 if anyone else has this problem that should help you out. Then I get a "welcome to customer service message"...no company name, finally I speak to a real person who answers the phone "customer service" again no company name, then asks me "20 questions" before I finally ask my 1st one and that was "what company is this, who are you?" no response, I had to ask if the rep if she was still there I thought she had hung up the silence was so long...she stammers yes so then I repeat the Q and the woman tells me it is Private Phone Agents...I say who and what and why is there a 18.95 charge to you on my account from a few hours ago...I never got an actual answer to any of this I did however get told that the 18.95 was non refundable but because I was such a valued customer she would refund 50%...keep in mind I still have no idea what this company is or what they do or why they charged me 18.95 to begin with and I got nothing from them but a headache. I did however get 50% of my money back for something I never used, awesome...well that is a scam to me, I never used their services whatever they may be and I called within a few hours of my account being charged...any reputable company would have just said sorry let us refund your $ but usually reputable company's list their entire contact # on the statement and answer the phone using their company name proudly, well not in this instance. BEWARE SCAM SCAM SCAM! |

Rebuttal to that rebuttal:
3368Even after cancelling with the online agent, after finding NO information, they will DAYS later bill your account like they did mine.
This website is a blatant scam. They should state up rront in bold letters that they are in business ONLY selling MONTHLY SERVICE. It sure as heck does not get cancelled...except MAYBE after a bank or the law persues a case.
So my advice is file a dispute report, and a police report on them, and always check your credit and bank transactions.
And report the scoundrels every time. |
