I took my lap top to TJ Design, to get a tutorial in editing and up-loading videos. They said only one employee "thought they knew how" {at $65/hr+ minimum fee}. He did part of it himself, without teaching me, and I found out the next day he didn't complete the project, or up-load it. I had to spend another $80.00 at a different shop to figure out what was wrong. I contacted TJ and requested to speak to "John", and to get a refund. I was told "John" no longer worked there, and they wouldn't tell me why. At that point, I described the above, and also told them of my concerns that "John" had plugged in some type of device to my lap-top's usb. port, and ran some sort of scan, and that now there were settings and other functions {like Wireless access} that had been changed and added. They wouldn't discuss this with me, and after a rather long and irritating discussion with the owner, she offered a $25.00 rebate. Approximately a month later, I was doing a geneology and information search {on myself}, and was shocked to find I was listed in three different places as being a relative of one of the co-owners, {which I am not}. After searching the other names listed on this MyLife page, I finally was able to connect it to TJ Design. I called them to find out how this had happened, and they said they had no idea, but they were "very uncomfortable with me searching their family". I told them I was very uncomfortable being listed as a family member on the world-wide web, when my only connection was being foolish enough to bring my computer into their shop. They hung up on me. 10 min. later, the other owner call me, and said to not ever call them again, and that I had "upset" their employee. {During my search, I found out a number of criminal connections of this family, one of which was an "Excluded Parties" listing with the Federal Gov't. - meaning, due to fraud, a member of this family was banned for life from doing business with, or getting grants from any Federal departments.} I also found that one of the co-owners was using an alias. Today, I found out they had filed a police report with the County Sheriff's dept., that I was "harassing them". Do not do business with these people!!! They supposedly specialize in web-site and business designs, and computer repair, etc. It appears they mostly specialize in fraud and shenannigans. Recently they filed another assumed name for their business. BEWARE!
