Here is how Three (3) Network Ireland does the scam with Netsize (57582) and Zamano (57767) Premim SMS operators. Netsize and/ or Zamano send you an SMS, or serveral SMS' for which you are charged more than EUR1.50 a shot. The SMS' give you details of a service saying you are subscribed to it. The messages say that you should sms 'stop' back if you want the service to stop. Then when you check your bill you will find out that you have been charged up to EUR5 for each sms which will include the 'stop' sms. The ripoff is that the Irish regulators (Comreq) seem to have teamed up with the scammers Netsize, Zamano and Three to allow Three network to just add the charges on to your bill without your consent on the sayso of Netsize/ Zamano. If you complain to Three, or Comreq, they tell you that it is your problem to sort out with Netsize (57582) and Zamano (57767) who are the scam Premium SMS operators. If you contact the Irish regulators (Comreg) to complain, they will tell you the same thing and guess what? The numbers Three and the Comreg give you to contact Netsize and Zamano are premium rated numbers which connect and keep you waiting. You never get through and if you do, by the time you are done with them, they will have gotten more than EUR50 from you for each SMS because you are calling their premium rated numbers. So even if you get Netsize and Zamano to 'stop', they will have ripped you off for at least EUR20 to EUR100 and they can do the same thing over and over again with no one to stop them. Write to your TD/MP, don't pay the Three Bill and report Three to the police for fraud as I have. Three has taken the money from your account , therefore, it is up to them to justify their actions. It's not their right of theirs, or Comreg to send you on a wild goose chase which will involve you in more wasted time and cost. Three is a criminal organisation and should be avoided like the plague. Write up their scams in forums like RipOff report to bring justice to the hard-pressed consumers of Ireland. |
