So after hearing what an amazing this place was back in the 70s-80's I thought what better place to work?! BIG MISTAKE!! They have been open for 1 month and have been threw 3 General Managers. The current General Manager is abusive to all employees except the hostess/waitress who he is sleeping with. To make matters worse the owner is addicted to meth which probably explains why I worked there for a month and never received a dime. Every week the owner Andrew told us that checks would be coming in the next week. In good faith I continued to work. After a month I had enough and was forced to report them to the U.S Dept Hour & Wages. They were familiar with the restaurant as I was late in reporting them. 6 other employees had beat me to it. Regardless of them not paying any of their employees they expected us to buy the uniforms. First we were required to have white shirts and black pants. Then it changed to Black shirts. Then changed to a tuxedo shirt, red vest, tie or bow tie. I consider this ridiculous to expect of the employees!! These uniforms ran $60-$80. They didn't care... either have your uniform or find a new job. When they got rid of over 30 items off of their menu they took a sharpie to every menu and scratched the item off instead of ordering new menus. I don't know about you, but to consider yourself FINE DINING and expect your employees to spend $80 on new uniforms, the least you could do is PAY your employees and purchase new menus. I've never in my life met such scumbags. These people could careless that you have a home & family to support. All Andrew is trying to do is pocket as much money as he can for drugs before he is shut down. Do yourself a favor a listen to the reviews on here about the food. I took back so much food due to it being either over cooked or under cooked or simply RAW. I felt bad for the customers and would always make sure the never had to pay for any food that they didnt like. The food is so overpriced and the quality is so poor it just doesn't make sense to choose this place to eat or work.
