The Earth Bazaar WAS a great company I used quite often until the beginning of 2011 when they charged my credit card for over a $100.00 and I didnt even place an order with them. I tried to contact them multiple times through e-mail and their customer service number and I never received a response. I turned to my bank for help (my debt card was charged) seeing as TEB was not going to call back. I had to file a fraud report against the company in order to get my money back. It took around two weeks for the almost $150.00 to be returned to my account. A few months had passed and I figured I would give them another chance. The amount that was charged to my debit card was within pennies of a order I placed at the end of 2010. So I thought maybe it was a mistake and even though they did nothing to help me I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I placed an order and after reviewing the stones decided to return some of them. I did so within the 30 day limit they require and waited for my credit card to be refunded. The company states it may take up to 30 days for a credit to be applied to your card. It has now been well over 60 days and I have NOT received a refund. I had a bad feeling when I was sending the gemstones back to the company, so I decided to insure the package and ask for a signature when TEB received my return. I have proof from The United States Postal Service that TEB received my return within the 30 day return policy, and it was signed for by an employee. I have emailed and called the company multiple times and once again have not received a response. I have filed a fraud claim with discover card hoping to get my money back for the return. So as of now Im out of over a $160.00 return the co owes me and they have the gemstones too. DO NOT use The Earth Bazaar unless you have extra cash laying around and want nothing to show for giving it to a company. I guess they have enough business that losing a customer wont hurt them! Buyer be-ware....this could be you! |
