Buyer Beware We are a middle aged working couple who Purchased used car from The Car Co, US 30, Warsaw Indiana Jan.2011, signed documents and they had us sign an agreement for referral bonus of $500. Picked up car, made us wait until dark, car was still dirty, nothing had been done expect stinky spray to interior.
Did not give us copies of all paperwork, only bill of sale, none of the other documents we signed. We requested copies several time by phone and were told No, they never give copies of those documents at any sale. But they told the Better Bus Bureau and Attorney General that they would provide the documents.
Called us several times days later harrassing not just talking and explaining the situation - I mean loud harrassing voice, to intimadate us that we did not qualify for their referral bonus, even though their so called Finance Manager Jeff K. looked up the qualifications for us and had us sign an agreement to mail us a check, they would not give us the $500. They are proud of their unethical business practices.
They ran a car fax that did not give us the entire story that the used car was from Enterprise Car rental in TN, just that it was a rental from OK. When we asked, they acted dumb. I even asked during the test drive if it was from Enterprise and he said no.
They have it down to an art-doubletalk unethical practices, reported them to Better Business Bureau and Attorney General for State of IN.
The Car Co is the most unprofessional car dealer we have ever dealt with they are a group of people who prey on the nice people in Warsaw IN, they cheat their way through every day, They lie everytime they open their mouths. They have internet offers that they do not want to honor. Do not deal with these crooks, Mike, Derrick, Josh.
They are paid commission on who they can get to finance with them, who they can promise referral bonuses to and never pay, who they can swindle out of as much money as possible.
They promised us great customer services and fixing the scratches and detailing the car and referral bonus before we took them our bank check to pay for the car. After they had the check , nothing was done, they started with the phone calls Derrick and Josh are rude, loud, intimidating, harrassing. Do not to do business with this car dealer. Even if it is in writing they won't give you a copy and won't honor their agreements. Crooks.
