In October of 2010 I found out that I was pregnant and would be having a baby some time around July 25, 2011. I was extremely sick for the first few months I noticed in January that my checking account had bounced from tanline taking out $22.40 which was my fault I became a member there and had agreed to pay for an unlimited monthly tanning package. At this time I called there store immediately and spoke with an employee named Jamie. I was told that I was not allowed to cancel my account until I came in person into their store. I also was told that I could freeze my account there for $5 per month until I decided to start tanning again this would keep my $22.40 price locked in. I do enjoy going tanning, so I figured that one day I would unfreeze my account which would be after I started working again. I was told that the freeze would start as of the month of Feb. It is now Aug and tanline has taken $22.40 out of my checking account on Aug 19, 2011. This has bounced my checking account and made it negative. I have not tanned or used any of their services since September of 2010. I called them immediately today and spoke with a manager named Angel. Angel told me that I was told that my account would only be frozen until August. I never spoke with her ever until today. My son is now 5 weeks old and I can not return to work until Sept 1. I was told that Angel is a manager and that her company is not willing to take a hit on my account, and that she will not reimburse me for any thing. If I was told that my account was going to be charged for an entire month than I would have immediately cancelled my account! I think that it is crazy that they don't feel responsible when I have not used any of there services in 11 months. How is it taking a hit when I have paid them October 2010 through January of 2011 for $22.40 and then an additional amount of $5 per month from Feb 2011 through July of 2011 and then they just decided to take out more money from my account with out my permission. My checking account will be charged for an additional $5 per day until this situation is resolved.. |
