T-Mobile USA, Deutsche Telekom False Advertising, Misrepresentation, Breach of Contract, Internet |

Do not do business with these scumbags! I have had T-Mobile service for 10 years, and have never had any problems with them up until the last year. They used to thank me for being a customer for 10+ years, now they just tell me to stick it (in so many words). I live in Las Vegas, which is one of T-Mobile's supposed hotspots, and is on the front line of their technology advancements. Supposedly. My Galaxy S phone fails to pick up even a 3G signal in Las Vegas. You would think that the company with "the largest 4G network" would at least be able to provide 3G coverage in one of its premier cities. I have two lines with T-Mobile, mine and my wife's also. On both accounts, I am paying $34.99 ($70 total) per month for unlimited data services, which T-Mobile is unable to provide. They "sent a technician out to my area" to diagnose the problem, but "found everything to be operating properly" and finished by saying that they "cannot guarantee coverage" even though my neighborhood shows 3G coverage on the coverage map of their website (false advertisement). That's funny, you made me sign a contract to guarantee to pay you my money, but you cannot guarantee to provide me with what I have paid for (misrepresentation). T-Mobile refused to remove the data charges from my account citing that the phone that I am in possession of requires a data plan and that I am under contract to continue paying the $70 per month despite the fact that I cannot utilize the service. I offered to return the phones in exchange for 2 phones that do not require the data service but they refused that proposition. T-Mobile also told me that it would cost $400 to terminate my account (2 phones @ $200 each). Now I am forced to choose between the lesser of two evils: pay $400 to cancel my account and go to Verizon (which will cost me an additional $600 to sign up with two new phones), or continue to pay $70 a month for nothing while T-Mobile tells me to go "F" myself. |
