Avon Cosmetics Avon is the worst mistake I ever made, Internet

For exactly 3 weeks, I was happy with the Avon company and I defended it on this site. I also feel I have been fair. It is not Avon's fault I live in the sticks, nor is it Avon's fault gas is currently 3.50 a gallon in my corner of the boondocks. I do feel Avon is responsible for it's crappy customer service. In my three short months with Avon I was constantly charged for things I did not order. My second problem is that when I made a campaign order, things were left off the list and if something was no longer available, I was not informed until my order got here. On Thursday, March 17th 2011, I recieved my product shipment and over two thirds of it was missing. What I thought was a purse was just a bunch of catalogs in a bag. Jewelry boxes were empty. I was told to pay for them anyway. I have been in sales of one form or another for exactly half of my life. If Dillard's or Foley's had given me the kind of backup Avon did, I would not have bothered to quit, I'd have just not shown up for work at a certain point. When I stop and consider the price of gas, going out and chasing customers was never worth what I put into it. I NEVER made a profit. My customers learned to stop expecting anything out of me. As it stands right now, my sales reputation lies in ruins. Avon should be too big for me to make more excuses than sales. If anyone else goes into Avon after me, I sincerely hope they're dealing with a better system than I have. I would not wish my own Avon experiences on my worst enemy.
