T-Mobile 29.99 Planet available only if I cancel my service, Internet

I've been happy with T-Mobile for the past six years since we started using them. But my prices have got so expensive I decided to call about an ad I saw on TV for all you can use data, voice and text for 24.99 a month per phone for two phones. I called them and the customer service representative was very rude. For first time ever for T-Mobile in my case .... She said that for me to get that deal that I would have to cancel my service completely and read sign-up for T-Mobile . She told me it would be $600 to cancel my service. Then she would sign me back up for me to get the $24.99 a month for two phones. She also told me that I would lose the phone numbers I explained about porting and keeping the same telephone number on a different service and she said I have worked here for sometime and I know the rules better than you do . I talk to her supervisor, he gave me the same information said it would be over $600 to cancel my service to get a $24.99 plan. There is no where on the TV ads or advertisements in magazines and newspapers mentioning that this is for new customers. Since I had such rudeness from the customer service rep by asking where they were at they said they were in Georgia. With the attitude they have you woukd think they had already switched to AT&T. If there's no advertisements saying that you can get service for two phones for $50 a month I think that should be available unless it says for new customers only but it does not say that anywhere on the advertising. It's too bad T-Mobile used to be very consumer friendly very kind when you talk to the customer service reps now that they're close to becoming part of AT&T they're acting like AT&T customer service reps. Someone needs to look into this bait and switch commercials and advertisements for the 50.00 a month plan.
