Swanson Health Products Swanson manipulates product review ratings. Internet |

I purchased two bottles of Condition Specific Formulas Prostate Essentials Plus and found little to no benefit. I submitted a negative product review to Swanson but it wasn't included in their product reviews. This practice is probably why all their product reviews have very high ratings. This is deceptive and unethical. |

I was a big fan of Swanson for many years and purchased thousands of dollars of their products. I also recommended Swanson to my colleagues and associates.
However, I noticed that all my positive reviews are posted on their website, but none of my negative reviews are ever posted. Ever notice how Swanson's product reviews are abnormally high (typically 4.5 out of 5). Yes, there is the occasional negative review posted on their website to make things look legit, but none of mine were ever posted. I wonder, for every 5/5 customer review, how many 1/5 reviews I don't see.
Its appalling that such a giant trusted brand name as Swanson, who have many loyal customers, would stoop so low and betray their customers with outright fraud like this. The reviews are relied on by many customers, who believe that the reviews are objective and impartial, and posted so that all can see what others are truly saying. This is certainly not the case with Swanson. Although the individual positive reviews may be real, the final overall review, with the negative reviews deleted, are completely faked.
I also noticed that the "total" order amount I sometimes pay is more than the sum of the individual products. The math doesn't add up if you use a calculator to confirm their additions (even after accounting for handling, delivery and tax). Swanson customer service agents are willing to correct the "error", however, if you don't check the math you end up paying more (about 5% more). Just like with Swanson's product reviews, the math is in their bills are also falsified.
This makes me wonder: what others lies have Swanson been telling us? What about everything Swanson says about the purity of their products? Are they also falsified? Some supplements contain harmful, cancer-causing and hormonally disruptive contaminants, if the purity is not assured. After seeing Swanson's falsified reviews, I have a hard time trusting anything posted on Swanson's website now, and this makes me concerned about Swanson products' safety.
I reiterate, I was a loyal fan of Swanson, however, I will no longer purchase from them again. They have cheated and betrayed me as a loyal customer. I will no longer recommend them to my associates and colleagues and, likely, will alert others of Swanson's deceipts. |
