| Laurence F. Haines, missed deadlines, missed court appearances, failed to file documents, and charged me an exorbitant retainer fee for it all. When I demanded my retainer fee be returned, he threatened to sue me. It is why I have to remain anonymous...If you hire Laurence F. Haines, be VERY careful. He has been sued for Malpractice, sued by his own attorney service for not paying his bills he really is a despicable. |

| his guy, Laurence F. Haines, is a real sleeze bag. He touts himself as "the best" Bankruptcy, family law, trial, ect...The truth is, he is not "the best" at all, just the opposite. Laurence F. Haines is one of the worst attorneys I've ever met. In short, he's an idiot. Before going into private practice he used to work for a collection firm, and was fired for being an idiot, and has been sued for malpractice for being an idiot. He's a liar and a truly disgusting person. Sorry, but its true. |

| In full agreement. Laurence F. Haines is very unprofessional and one of the worst people you can ever come across. He has an assistant that follows every wrong act he conducts and displays herself as his right hand through all the negative personal comments he makes to the other party associated with the trial. If he were a good attorney.. He would win all his Family Law cases, instead their is proof that he ruined his paid clients position in court against an unrepresented petitioner! Haines law firm is ran by an unprofessional attorney(which he clearly shouldnt be one), dirty gamed strategy, WORST man in esistance! |

| My experience was completely different. Mr. Haines handled a fraud/breach of contract case for me. He is a fantastic attorney. He handled the deposition and trial with extreme confidence and skill. Like very few attorneys, he is at his absolute best before a jury. The other party was so beat up after 1/2 a day of trial, they begged to settle. I can highly recommend Laurence Haines. . | Mr. Haines and his Associates handled a civil case for my Mom and I. The firm was very competent and professional . They worked very hard on our case, were very attentive to us and operated with the utmost integrity. We won the case and a sizable award. I would highly recommend this firm and would use them again if the need arise. |

These negative comments are a hoax. They are written by paralegals who are upset that Mr. Haines has exposed their illegal practice as paralegals violating the California Business and Professions Code section 6450 which states that a paralegal may not contract directly with the public, select or recommend forms for clients, and may not set or accept a fee from a client. Paralegals in California must work directly for and be paid by a California attorney. All the "paralegal" and "legal document" helpers advertising on Craigslist and elsewhere are breaking the law!
Whoever wrote these negative comments have never been clients of Mr. Haines and are lying. If they had any guts, they would identify themselves and be forced to prove their claims. Their anonymity proves their lies. |
