The company Surprise Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. made a deal with my sister in law who currently does not reside in the State of Arizona, but owns a house In Arizona. As a concerned family member and involve in a dispute with this company. The owner made an agreement to install an air-conditioning unit with a quote that would exceed the actual rear/installation. All due to the hail damage, that happened here in Phoenix. The deal was the quote would exceed the actual amount of cost and the left over monies would go to the owner of the house being Martha V. After the installation Martha received a check for $3607.73 the deal was the AC Company in question would be paid $1800.00 and not be charges for anything else. The rest would go to Martha. Martha signed the check and sent it to me to give to the AC Company, who in return was supposed to give back $1807.73. Leonardo Edwin Londono showed up late on Friday and demanded the check, to which he gave a company check of and said, I would be able to cash it right away. I didnâ€™t go to the bank till Wednesday Oct 5; I was told by the teller at Bank of America that the check could not be cashed because the account didnâ€™t have the sufficient funds. So I attempted again on Thursday the 6th and go the same response from Bank of America. I then I decided a third time with same response but this time was told the owner of the check had placed a hold on the check, calling the owner of the check he stated he had put more than 7000.00 dollars into that account and I should be able to cash it, but the deposit was done through an ATM and would take 3 business day before the monies would be available. Finally I decided to use my back instead and deposited the check after about Wednesday the 12th my account online showed the check had been cashed and it looked like the funds were available. As soon as I got to my back later that day my back told me the Owner of the check had placed a hold on the check and the monies was taken back out of my account. Surprise Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc had been playing games through the bank since the beginning, and never intended to give any monies from the check. AC company info:
