Stratified Market Research
Stratified Market Research Market research Sent a cashiers check for 3600 dollars new york, New York
13th of May, 2011 by User320074
I received a letter with a check enclosed for $3600, stating that they are a mystery shopper company, called strativity market research. Now at first i was sold on the idea, but with research, i found out that this was a scam. They have you deposit the check then causes you to be in discrepancy with your bank. I did some research and it looks like this person is in Canada and i was even able to get an address of their exact location by way of gps. This may be someone that has nothing better to do, trying to scam innocent people that works hard for a living. Please BE VERY CAREFUL AND NOT FALL ONTO THIS Scam.

I got one today! When I seen the check for $3600 I knew that it was to good to be true. It was way to easy. I read the letter & when I read you have to deposit the check for $3600 then go to western union and wire the money to a person named SALIU KEHINDE in Paris, France. This is a SCAM!!! Please people be aware! They get you to deposit the check then send wire transfer to some other person by the time the check comes back NSF its to late for you! Your out $3600 plus any other fees that would occur!

Yeah...me too just got one ($3, 600) and I called a guy name Tony Allen at 1-403-397-6172. At first I talked to this guy, and then tried to call him back...but the number ironically didn't work. But I wasn't stupid...I tried to cash the check at another location and didn't go to my bank as the letter stated. One of my bestfriends that work at the check cashing place told me that the check was on hold...but it didn't state why!

Anyway...I was excited the first time I received this letter, but then I started to think...what if this is a SCAM!
So I researched it...and found myself here with you guys talking about this letter! The address is even incorrect...SO PLEASE DON'T BE A FOOL AND CASH THIS CHECK AND GET YOURSELF INTO MORE MESS OVER A FONY $3, 600! I kinda figured that this check was fony. If you don't believe me...then if you think that it's not...then take it upon yourself and cash it at a check cashing place first instead of going to your bank...there isn't even a number to call and verify the check on the check! NOTE: THERE ARE CLUES THAT TELLS YOU THAT THIS IS A SCAM...SO PAY ATTENTION AND DON'T FOOL YOURSELF!
