My BIGGEST mistake was to ever consider renting from Stratford Square Apartments in the first place. Initially I thought the location would be a plus, WRONG! with the construction of Eagle Village right next door the traffic is one continuous headache, most days you are unable to take the left on to Rt 1 and if you can it is extremely dangerous! Forget about crossing the road to get to the University. The aparment looked nice when I moved in, about two weeks later I discovered a terrible mold situation in the vents that managment would not repair. The parking is absolutely ridiculas, i believe that management has made each parking space one foot smaller in an attempt to provide more spaces, instead my new car has been dented all over! I came home late one night to find two homeless men passed out in my hallway! I screamed, they ran, it could have been so much worse. My suggestion is this: with so many newer, nicer and better managed apartments in the area I would NOT RENT from Stratford Square or Monticello Apartments ever! Save youself much headache, go somewhere else...
