| This is my third attempt to file. In feb 2011 purchased nokia smartphone from walmart. using straight talk services. After 2mos i began experiencing phone/laptop problems. Had to call straight talk almost daily for another 2 months for different problems all the while they were attempting to access my laptop via my phone to put different programs on my laptop. Yes I have them copied on paper. They had me on video conference once. I noticed,told her to stop,my phone screen flashed brightly and she apologized to me. while talking to them on someone elses straighttalk phone they bluetoothed from her phone to mine and tried to access my laptop again (my phone and laptop were connected at the time with usb cable) Straight talk ,over time, accesed my laptop enough to almost destroy it. had to have the memory wiped and start over. by the way this all started 2mos after phone purchase when the said i was using to much internet time. Eventualy they screwed up my phone also. They had to send me a replacement phone. recieved it on 21 june 2011 and when they tried to activate it i was told the seriel # of the new phone was registered to a different account. They had to send 3 seperate sim cards to get it activated. Three different reps gave me a week free service for all my trouble(3wks total) 31july my phone was cut off. I called and they said i needed to purchase a phone card and when i mentioned the 3 free weeks i was told there was no record of them saying this. They told me to prove it and i gave them exact dates and times. After arguing for about an hour i told him that before he hangs up on me or pushes that little voice garbling thing they have i wanted to speak to his boss he pushed the voice garbling button. They can hear you but you cant understand them. i asked for his rep # and he refused to give it to me. after awhile he gave a rep#that eventualy turned out to be false. Eventualy i had to hang up. I then went and bought a phone card and had the walmart guy reactivate my phone. the next day i called straighttalk. I didnt even have to give her any of my info to start a discussion because she already knew what i wanted. I did ask her to record our discussion but she refused. She did promise me a month free service and gave me her rep # when asked. she told me to call back a week before my current card expired. To remind them i guess. I have learned a lot about the access they have to their customers thru a phone. they can and will turn on your camera and watch you. I cought them once. i found a video on my phone of my living room taken while i was talking to them. somehow that dissapeared. they can and will access and dump stuff onto your pc. I have eyewitnesses to these things. they thought i was just paranoid till i showed them. your privacy means nothing to straight talk. |
