| Approximately May 2009, I had damage to my roof from a storm. I contracted Storm Damage Specialists to repair my roof. I gave them approximately 2,300 dollars to begin work. To this date, March 2011, they have done nothing. I asked for my money back and Jim Kennedy said he didn't have the money and would have to make payments. I haven't heard from Jim, no phone calls telling me money was coming or a time frame to expect payments to start. My roof still leaks and I am very frustrated. |

I as well had so called Catastrophe Specialist come to my home and said I could get a free roof, siding, and gutters, and did nothing but push on getting the first check. When I did my husband was mad of course, and sure enough, he was right! 8 mos. go by with no return phone calls and still nothing!!!
I have a lawsuit out now and he avoids his agreement, I found out that he is in GRIFFITH, IN, MERRILLVILLE, IN AND OTHER LOCAL TOWNS doing the same thing. If he does do your house, i wouldnt trust him or anybody that works for him.
I WISH SOMEONE WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! |

I think that you have my company confused with another company that provides a similair service. I am not aware of any unhappy customers other than the ones that failed to pay their balance and are upset because we liened their homes and placed them into collections.
If you are in fact one of our clients, this is the first time that I am hearing about your issue. I am obligated to retract my previous post regarding Jim Kennedy and or Storm Damage Specialists of
America because what really happened is that after my job was completed, I failed to pay them their balance
and was turned into collections by them. I then became angered at them because of this and decided to
post this to cause them grief.
I am in fact completely satisfied with the service that they provided for me. I am also sorry for any problems
that my false post may have caused. Thank you for your time.

| Dear User 909912 sorry about your situation, maybe next time instead of following up with the BBB which doesn't tell you about any litigation a company has against them just the complaints that are presented to them by the consumer. I would just pull up the company name and look to see if there are any public records( court dockets) to see if there was any issues with the company |
