E Bay ebay E Bay computer PAC MAN Internet
3rd of Dec, 2011 by User836888
E Bay goes above and beyond their 21 day hold on a sellers money by also charging a SHIPPING VALUE FEE. They have no business in taking a percent of what it cost the seller to mail the item. This forces the seller to either take a loss on the shipping (if they honestly price the shipping cost) or the seller must add a "thug" charge for ebay's take of the shipping charge. This to me is illegal and mail fraud on the part of EBAY. According to their rep they do this to encourage free shipping. Pretty sure they do it because the bean counters calculated how much additional revenue could be derieved. And revenue from somethng that they provide absolutely no service for. Genius! Someone must have gotten promoted for deivising the SHIPPING VALUE FEE concept. This fee is mail fraud in my mind. Extorsion? Embezlement(sp)? Anyone agree? This shipping value fee is just another way to feed the computer driven EBAY Monopoly. When an EBAY employee comes to my home to help weigh my sold item, pack it for shipping, and then takes the sold item to the post office then they deserve a portion of the SHIPPING COST.
