I ordered stompeez slippers on November 18.2011 for 19.99 plus I paid extra on shipping (overnight), and 1.00 processing fee for a total of 41.98. There was never an email sent to me, nor to this day does the website show the item I ordered to be out of stock. After calling and dealing with the company and being place on hold a total of 5 hours 27 min (sitting on hold now) for 3 calls I still have not got my product. My last phone call as of this past Friday I spoke with Micheal who guarenteed me that I would receive my product by Saturday. The product did not come however this am at 5:30 I did receive an order that my product was on back order. This will not help me since I have to mail to my granddaughter whos dad is in germany in military -

i orderes stompeez about 1 month ago an never recieved my product i called and they tols me that i never placed an order wen i have a confirmation number and they were already charged to my bank acount

This also happened to me received one pair never received second pair or bonus items that I ordered! On Dec. 11 checked order status they cancelled my order and did not send me an e-mail this is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!!

I placed an order about a month ago for a pair of slippers for my grandson. I received an email stating that the credit card I used was declined so i reordered, and this time it was accepted. On Dec. 6th, I was charged for one pair. On Dec. 8th, another pair that i did not order, so i called and cancelled this order. Then, I called and spoke to the customer service rep and she said they would get it refunded to my account. Today, Dec. 13th, I was informed that I had to shipments sent out, one to my grandson's address and one to mine. When I called, I spoke with a Joanne who informed me that the $3.78 processing fee would be credited but that I couldn't even send back the second and would not receive a refund. After over an hour, I could not even get her to give me a corporate number to complain. Instead, she kept saying she was the only person I could speak with. She refused to give me a straight answer on any question I had. Finally, it came down to once I sent the second set of slippers back they would refund my money. It was also said, by Joanne, that the credit information I gave them could be used for any purpose they deemed, and that is why they sent out and charged me for the second set of slippers. As of this moment, I am determined to find a corporate office number and contact them. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

@joymeador - I suggest putting the second pair on Craigslist. Since they are all currently out of stock, I have no doubt that you could get much more for them than you spent. Prices on Ebay are crazy!

I ordered 3 pair over the phone on Nov. 30th. The site said guaranteed by Christmas and the gentleman on the phone also guaranteed me of this and told me they would call me if they were to be on backorder so I could switch to a different style. Today is Dec. 16th and I still have not received them and have called twice. The first time I called on Dec. 5th I was told I would have them by Dec. 9th. The second time I called I was told they would try and get them to me by Christmas...
I don't believe the company is a scam as in they take your money and the product doesn't exist, but they should not be taking orders guaranteeing they will be delivered by Christmas when they won't and they should not lie about backorder status.

I'm in the same position. I ordered on December 2, 2011 with guaranteed delivery by Christmas. I have been calling every day since and been told they have the items in the warehouse, waiting for them to be shipped. This is the worst company I ever in my life had the non pleasure of dealing with. I'm taking this matter further and contacting the Better Business Bureau. This is an Outsourcing company that we are dealing with with the main office located in California. I am attempting to get the telephone number and was given 800 544 4099 for complaints. When I call this number they talk about nothing and then hang up. I will not rest. My children may be disappointed for Christmas but this company will not get away with this if I can help it.

I PURCHASED 3 PAIRS OF STOMEEZ ON DEC 1ST. WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER (VIA PHONE), I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE FOR ALMOST AN HOUR. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE. THAT WAS JUST THE BEGINING! I HAVE CHECKED MY STATUS OFTEN AND IT SAYS THE SAME THING, ORDER IS PROCESSED. I DID RECEIVE A RECEIPT WITH ORDER NUMBER BUT NO TRACKING NUMBER. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND AFTER BEING PUT ON HOLD FOR LENGTHY TIMES THEY TELL ME THE SAME THING, " WE ARE DOING OUR BEST TO GET IT TO YOU BEFORE CHRISTMAS." I CALLED LAST NIGHT AGAIN AND I COULDN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND THE WOMAN WHO DID NOT SPEAK VERY GOOD ENGLISH. SHE JUST REPEATED HERSELF OVER AND OVER THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON MY ORDER. WELL IT IS NOW DEC 22ND. THIS IS MY CHILDREN AND NEICES CHRISTMAS PRESENT. IF THEY HAVEN'T SHIPPED IT OUT BY NOW, HOW IN THE WORLD WILL THEY BE HERE BY TOMORROW. MY CREDIT CARD HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED YET AND THEY SAID THEY WILL CHARGE IT WHEN IT IS SHIPPED OUT. AT THE TIME I MADE THE PURCHASE, THESE WERE NOT ON BACKORDER AND WERE AVAILABLE. WHAT A CROCK OF CRAP! THIS IS OBSURD! WHAT A DISAPOINTING EXPERIENCE. THIS IS CHRISTMAS. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THEIR INVENTORY CHECKED AND MADE SURE THESE WERE AVAILABLE. We ordered 3 pairs of Stompeez in November. The order status always showed "processing". We could see that they were backordered but that we would defnitely get them before Christmas. Today we received an email that the slippers had shipped. When I looked at the order total, I saw that the shipping was $27.80 when it should have been 20.85. When we called about the additional amount, they said it was for the express shipping - which we didn't request. After several repeats that "we didn't request expedited shipping" the representative finally said they would refund the additional amount. I wonder how many others they overcharged for.

I placed an order for Stompeez on November 19th. I heard nothing until December 17th when I received an e-mail indicating that they had been shipped and would arrive by JANUARY 3rd!!! I complained and was told that they guaranteed delivery by Christmas. So, we've been waiting. Today my husband received a call from an alleged Stompeez rep who said he wanted to send us a $100 Target gift card for our trouble, but he needed our credit card information again in order to pay for "shipping." My husband is very gullible, so he actually gave them the entire card number AND expiration date. I freaked out. When I called Stompeez customer service, the woman hung up on me when I was asking her if this is something they do. I'm trying to call back again. Nothing says scam more than this. The guy had the last four digits of the credit card that we had given when we placed the order. If the Stompeez company isn't a scam, then it's darn close. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Me too...I ordered a pair of Stompeez nonexistant slippers on Dec 1st. When i tried to call to check on my order, the person I spoke to could hardly speak english. The second time I called (which I waited 20 minutes to get through) I spoke to another gentleman(???) who also didnt speak english much better than the first person I spoke to. I was told that the money would not be deducted from my account until they were shipped, which so far seems to be the only thing that they have been honest about. It is very disappointing to have people like these are able to sell these kind of lies in our own country. Especially at Christmas time. I have a feeling that from the sound of the peoples voices that I heard, that you won't be able to ever find out anything about their corporate office or anything else. When i ordered my pair of slippers and requested the "FREE" duffle bag, they were going to charge me 6.95 for shipping of the duffle bag ans 6.95 shipping for the slippers too. What a rip!!! I'm really pissed!!!

I ordered November 18th and I've been calling about once a week. I was told last week that they would waive the shipping fee ($13.60) but, I can see that they didn't do that at all.

Today I called again and was told that they are trying to get all the orders out by the Holidays.. I said, "so you're saying my order has been shipped?" .. She says..."we are trying to get all orders out by the Holiday"...

I said, "Listen, it's Friday... tomorrow is Christmas eve.. so unless you're shipping it today, , and over nighting it, I'm not going to get it, , right?"

She says again, "We are trying to get all orders our by the Holidays" . . argh.

I repeated myself.. and then she hung up on me. This is just nuts. I placed my order before Thanksgiving so this wouldn't happen.

Definite scam. I am the proud owner of 5 pairs of non-existant slippers...and I threw in $40 shipping fee that I didn't agree to either. Customer service never picks up for me...on hold for hours. so at least you guys are getting through. I just want a refund and can't even get taht.

I just can not believe this! I as well ordered 3 pairs on November 22 and was "guaranteed" via phone as well as email for Christmas and it is 12:48 Christmas morning and I have nothing. What i will have is one very disappointed 8 year old. I want to find out who owns this company, and make sure every person I can possibly get to knows how terribly run they are. It is disgusting how misleading, and greedy people can be. I am furious and would love to know what # to call to get thios company shut down!

WORST company I have EVER ordered from. I ordered on Nov 17th. Called over 10 times and was told each time that they were guaranteed by Christmas. Called on the 22nd and was told that they were not shipped yet and that they take 4-5 days to ship so I would not get them. Asked for a supervisor who told me they would upgrade to overnight shipping and that I would have them by Christmas. Called the morning of the 23rd and was told they were shipping off that morning via overnight shipping. Called again in the afternoon since I had not gotten a tracking number and she said she couldn't tell if they had been shipped and the site would not update for 24-48 hours. They did not come and they are still closed. I tried to e-mail, but got a failure notice. I want to cancel my order since they were a Christmas present, but it won't let me do it online and the number to cancel is closed for the Holidays. Don't waste you time unless you have 3-4 months to wait before you get them. I did report them to the BBB and would encourage all others who had the same problem to do so. All they had to do was tell me the first time I called that they were backordered and not guaranteed by Christmas and I would have been fine. I already had slippers for them (that I returned after being guaranteed delivery before Christmas). I think people would have been less upset if they had just told them they were not guaranteed and given them the option to cancel or try to see if they come in time. Poor business management or money hungry.
