I attended Stockport Chiropractic Wellness centre in Heaton Mersey, I then had to attend 4 different long winded appointments before i could receive treatment. On each of these visits i was told that i would receive treatment on "report of findings" 5th visit! On numerous occasions i was told that this would be 30 per treatment which is also stated on their website. On the 5th visit I was briefly told about setting up a direct debit by the chiropractor which was the first time it was ever mentioned as previously I was told it would 30 per treatment. I then finally received treatment. After this initial treatment I was then escorted to the back office where they proceeded to forcefully try and make me sign up to a monthly contract of 115 per month for 12 months! I felt very pressured & uncomfortable, I explained that I was told on numerous occasions that it would be 30 per treatment. I was then told that this was not an option and I had to sign up to this contract. I said that I would like to go back home & discuss this with my husband, she was very adamant that I was to sign the contract. I was also told that once signed up to this 12 month contract I would not be able to cancel it & would have to continue paying 115 per month regardless. I did not sign the contract & I left feeling deflated, conned & angry about all of my time that they have wasted. I would advise anyone that wants to attend Stockport Chiropractic Wellness Centre in Heaton Mersey to be aware of the costs before you do the long winded consultation sessions and not to be pressurised into signing expensive contracts.
