I was then told that I could come back within 15 days to "try again" not telling me anything about what was wrong. She just said "drive your car for 60-100 miles, then bring it back in and we'll give you a free inspection."

I told her this made no sense...why would I drive the car for 60-100 more miles, then bring it back in, when I had no clue what was wrong with it.

After going back and forth with her a couple of times, trying to figure out what was wrong with my car I agreed and was ready to leave. THEN she told me that I had to pay 39.75 for the inspection, which I totally disagreed with. Again, making no sense whatsoever!

It would only be the same outcome, 15 days later if I didn't have a reason for the failed inspection. I refused to pay and she said "well it states right there (an 8.5x11 sheet of paper across the room, under a shelf) "that you have to pay for all inspections, whether you pass or not."

We checked with other inspection places in the area and all stated that they do not charge you for a sticker if your car doesn't pass. They will tell you what's wrong with the vehicle, you go and have it repaired, then come back and try again.

Not this woman. she couldn't tell me what was wrong with the car, so I could have it fixed. Then tells me I have to pay $39.75 and come back in 15 days after putting on 60-100 miles.

This is a scam and I will never use SpeeDee with Cheryl Jobgen again. She knew the car wouldn't pass inspection the second time so she wanted to get her money up front...For Nothing! She's a scam and so is the company she works for!
