Never work for this company, the people running it are convicted felons, and use drugs. They claim to own the company but don't. But that's not the reason. The reason is because they will put you at a post and you work 13 hours but only get paid for 12. They wont pay overtime ,they are always wanting the employees to sign lilegal papers for everything, uniforms, not getting overtime, and many other outrageous things. They say in their ad that they hire ex-police, well not so many, I think there is 3. The others are people that took their class, trust me, they don't belong in this type of work. There is drama everyday, the "self proclaimed owner" has told his employees that they can't be friends with people that no longer work there. If they don't want someone there they will cut their hours so they will quit so he doesn't have to pay unemployment. And even if he does fire them he will do and say anything to keep from paying. They are only there to get paid, they don't care About their employee's. There is so much more but I can't say our they will Sue me. Lol |

Special Security Force is a good company with people that do what they say. I am a property manager and I have used the company 2 different times. I am no longer a property manager but when I was I advised my regional manager that I wanted to go in house rather then use a security company and then I spoke to another manager at an AMA meeting and she said without hesitation that I should use the same company she was using which was Special Security Force. I called them and they started about 45 days later and made an arrest the first night they were on the property and the tenants really like them. Special Security Force is professional and I would agree that who ever wrote the bad post does not know what they are talking about.
I went to my property the first two weeks and made a call to the Special Security Force dispatch center and the lady was nice and contacted the officer on another line to meet a tenant (me the manager acting like a tenant) near the south pool about a problem. I saw the security guard running across the property and that is very rare.
When I saw this post, it made me really made because these guys do a good job and do not deserve what was said about them. The guy I met with was an ex-cop and antoehr guy named John was also a former Police officer. Both guys were very professional, had flat top haricuts and made me a believer in security companies again or at least one.
Every security company will have a couple of bad guards but Special Security Force was the best company I had ever used.

They scam potential employees with false job offerings and require an advanced training class at 3 times the rate of any other company in the valley. Their rude and unprofessional to anyone outside their company. They act like police officers when they're not! Captain Torres is a child who thinks he's a cop. I've worked for alot of companies before and never been treated with such disrespect. They are not BBB accredited for this reason and their company address is listed as a residence! You want a good company look for one that is BBB acredited. I would be ashamed to be associated with them or your company in any way at all! Furthermore it says on their website they only hire ex-police officers. But they post an add on craiglist stating no experience is required for an employee. The facts don't add up, it's that simple. No guards have ever given any good reviewss for them because their misleading scammers!! It's that simple! |

Excellent Company to work for. I worked for these guys before and I had to leave to go back into the service and when I came back to the states, I made a phone call and I was invited to come down to the office and pick up a uniform. I could not be happier. Jobs are not easy to get right now. I am telling you that these guys care about the people they hire and always take care of a problem if it arises. I will always defend this company because of what they did for me and my family and what I see them do for other newly hired guards.
Felons cannot get guard cards so you do not know what you are talking about. Please make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You won't because you cannot hide. Even with the BBB we are given a A-. IT IS CLEAR THAT YOU HAVE NEVER WORKED FOR THESE GUYS BEFORE. You were not hired and from what you wrote, they had good reason no doubt. |

I will ask why individual people, with individual problems, or so it would seem, attempt and try to tarnish a Company as a whole like this "ATTACK" is. Special Security Force performs a great service to the Community and employs over 100 people. Why do you want to try and take the money needed to feed other Special Security Force Officers and their families away? Remember those fellow officers who also put their lives on the line and backed you up out there in
the field? Remember those hard working people who kept it real and continue to do so? That’s who you really hurt by leaving lies. And besides, anyone who is anyone at any company knows that it’s not always about yourself, but what you stand for. Special Security Force stands for good things and does allot of good things for it’s clients and employees. That much you can never change or lie about. |
