FRAUD - BAD MEDICINE -- I was recently seen by Southern California Spine Center, San Diego Chiropractor Michael Mountain, . The exam of me was very superficial, had no attention to detail, and failed to take into consideration of other areas of pain where a medical doctor could have been able to aleviate pain. Michael Mountain refused to see me noting it was important he get paid by the insurance carrier for his substandard service. The DRX9000 he claims works wonders did not appear well kept and the office is messy and located in a substandard office building where the elevator rarely works. This is NOT the place to go if you are truly in need of immediate treatment for a back injury. My orthopedic doctor told me the DRX9000 which Michael Mountain claims to work wonders would do little or nothing on the lumbar spine area due to the inadequate amount of pressure on the discs needed. Micahel Mountain, Southern California Spine Center, failed to provide me withany recent peer reviewed study of the DRX9000 by an orthopedic doctor, but purely looked to his former patients for testomials. Every person is different. If 10 patients say Michael Mountain worked wonders for him/her, what about the hundreds of others who did not feel any relief? Further, Amy (right out of the trailer park) somehow lost important billing information with financial information on it and delayed the processing of clearing billing. As a result, I was forced to wait another week for treatment. When Amy finally located my information, and was provided an exam which was billed to my carrier about what an orthopedic doctor would charge. This over billing is indicative of fraud and highly improper. Michael Mountain also sued a provider of the very equipment he uses on a daily basis alleging in part its defective. How can a purported doctor use equipment on patients, then sue the very people he entrusts his patients with? San Diego Superior Court Cases MICHAEL MOUNTAIN VS. STEVEN CAVELLIER, DECOMPRESSION MANAGEMENT INC Case Number: 37-2008-00087806-CU-BC-CTL Yes, Michael Mountain went so far to sue a fellow chiropractor for meritless reasons.
