I recieved a call from 360-967-4286 Dec. 2, 2010 telling me I had won a $1000 shopping spree. The catch was paying S&H of $8.93 to Your Magazine Source. I spoke with Micheal, employee # 9272. I was told I would recieve three trial magazine subscriptions that if I did not cancel within 21 days I would be charged a annual fee of $98 and some cents for the subscriptions. In order to cancel I had to call 1-866-537-4728. No one ever answers this phone, it just records messages. Micheal told me I would also recieve two other promotional offers from Buyer's Club Roadside assistance (1-866-427-2230, but all you get is a busy signal) and Identity Ease Identity theft protection (1-800-251-7975, this number sends you a text message asking you to join a Locator service from for $9.99 per month). I have not recieved my package yet but I have been charged $8.93 as well as two other unauthorized charges from ID Sentinal Alert 1-877-216-7809 for $23.87 and $4.95. I immediately called the 877 number and spoke to a woman. I told her I had not authorized these charges and they needed to be removed. She told me "Well I don't know you didn't authorize them. I'll have to listen to the recording of the conversation." and hung up on me. I called the bank to dispute the charge and report it as fraud and cancelled my debit card. I still haven't been able to get ahold of anyone in customer service or recieved a return phone call in order to cancel the trial subscriptions.
