My husband and i were brand new to the area- military, and wanted a commuter car. We needed something small because we lived a little far from the base. We came in and bought a 2005 honda with cash. We were told when you do that the dealer is supposed to give you a copy of the old title? We didn't get anything. After two days the car was in the mechanic.$ 1,400 for so many problems. The mechanic said it looked as if the car had been totaled them put back together with spare parts. We had to send the car to a second mechanic to finish repairs the first could not- another $1,400. AND there are still repairs to be done. We have filled a complaint with the BBB and the DMV. If it turns out the car was a salvage or has a salvage title they have to refund ALL of our money. the car was not sold as a salvage, nor were we aware of a salvage title. They do not return phone calls, and mess up ALL the paperwork. We still don't have our tags or plates.! These people are a major scam. We are seeking legal council. |

as much as I would like to bash used car dealers because I hate them anyway I looked up this used car dealer to send a picture to a friend because I thought it was ridiculous to put 3 crosses on their sign like there holy or something .. only in the Bible Belt, ... Anyways..., so what if it was a salvage title, it happens all the time even if the car was just in a small accident or stolen. every car needs work. And so what if the car need 1400 dollars in work. that's nothing in today's garage rates.. you're probably getting it we under cost and if you weren't, then, shame the fact is a lot of these dealers go to auctions with a just buy cars wholesale... do a CARFAX report on any vehicle you buy it if you spending that much money anyway it's cheap to do and you'll find out the history of the vehicle ... such as it being totaled like your vehicle ... it's not a full proof system but it's the way to go... I wouldn't go to any 1 of these shade tree car lots anyway |

and yes it is their bad for not telling you it was a salvage title, when the Steelers go to auctions they don't know what the cars been through there just looking as a commodity to buy and sell for profit.. around people dealer will not buy a salvage title vehicle.. welcome to the redneck Riviera |
