I had Solid Cactus design my Website a few years ago. I have been ripped off very very Bad. I hired them to help me open a WebStore.
They did the design and sent me to the wolves. Ripoff 1 - Solid Cactus Project Manager did not tell me anything about processing credit cards or fraud. They told me to hire Meritt Card solutions to process my credit cards. Result - I was ripped off over $6,000 by fraudulant buyers. Ripoff 2 - Solid Cactus reps. kept trying to sell me PPC Search Optimization to help get clicks and improve my sales. I paid $500 for 3 months + set up fee of $100.
Result - Sales went DOWN 70%. Ripoff 3 - Solid Cactus Call Center Services - Big Scam.
They sell you on saying they will take calls for you. What they do is handle all calls like they are your employees. I had one call for 40 minutes at .99 cents a minute. They gave my customer the run around telling that the warehouse is
closed. They did not even email or call me to ask about the customers order. I paid them hundreds every month for chit chat. I told them that I think the bill is unfair and I wanted to listen to the callers. They tole me first that I would
have to pay them .99 cents for my bill of 398 minutes. Basically it would have doubled my bill. Then when I told them I was unhappy and did not think I had to pay for it they had the nerve to tell me that the $8,500 Store I paid in full that they will render my store permanently disabled. That had nothing to do with the Call Center Service. Solid Cactus is a BIG Nightmare!!!
Yahoo has removed them as a recommended Developer.
Any one thinking to use Solid Cactus - Buyer Beware!
