Solar Powered Products offered free solar products using our home as a display house Brisbane, Knoxfield VIC, Waterloo NSW, Internet |
8th of May, 2011 by User843185 |
After several phone calls offering a free solar power installation a man named Steve Williams came over on the 4 November 2010 to discuss the offer. He explained that our home would be used as a display home and we would only have to pay a $900 refundable( $ 150 per month refunded over 6 months) deposit to ensure we displayed the advertising sign for 6 months. We payed the deposit and since then have received a series of text messages postponing the installation due to weather etc. After paying the deposit I check out the website. We then received $25 as a show of "good will" while we waited for a new installation date. The date had been postponed several times. Last week we received a text message including an installation date and saying there was a letter coming from the company offering a refund if we did not want to proceed anymore. We are still waiting for the letter......... Today we received a text message saying the the installation date set is still on track. Do not respond to this text message. No mention of the refund letter. We are interested in taking this further to ensure that all those who have been ripped off receive their refund. We are currently looking into alternative ways of contacting this man. If we can help anyone in any way to gather more evidence of this scam please let us know.

We are the victims of Steve Williams (aka Stephen Jones) and his company Solar Powered Products (or Premium Solar Systems). His co partner is Robert Brown (potentially the same man) and Julie Anne Jones. Together they have set up various fake companies from NSW to Queensland. But their latest scam is the Free Solar advertising scam. You pay $900 as a bond. He never delivers. If you have not yet contacted our group, please act!!!
You can contact us on [email protected] ([email protected] is still active, but victim900 is preferred. [email protected] is inactive)
Our main venting site is on Not Good Enough (http://www.notgoodenough.org/viewtopic.php?p=324085).
We have been urging to report Steve Williams' company SPP (http://www.solarpoweredproducts.com.au) and PSS (http://premiumsolarsystems.com.au) as a scam. He is also known as Pastor Steve from the Australia's Revival ministries at Carrara, Gold Coast, Queensland. |

STEVES DAILY QUOTE :
"It is currently a very difficult time for my family and I, but I understand the frustration and anger that is out there and that it is being stirred up even more through the Medea and internet.
However, no matter what is ahead for me, I will not turn away from my faith in God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Word of God."
THE SHADOW: And what?! You don't think other people are in a difficult time? Scammer! |
