I ordered , paid and received a operating sytem software (XP) from this " soft unique " company .
The disc arrived damaged ( cracked ) .
This in the middle of November 2011 .
I called the company the same day the damaged article arrived and was told that a replacemant disc would be sent .
When no replacement arrived I called soft unique and was told this bold face lie that the manger just left and they would call the next day . Next day came and went , no phone call .
I called again , this time I was told that customer service was not available at this time .
Than called sales dept instead , got the same girl from customer service and was told the same story mannager not here bla, bla etc.
Called again the next day and was told in an irritable voice that the new disc was on its way .
one week passed no disc .
Called again , this time neither sales nor customer service were availble .
Leave voice mail . Yeah right . Upon checking my credit card statement there was a company name ( lax computers ) and a phone number ( 323 444 4416 ) mentioned with the statement When calling this number I got the message that the number is out of service .
The return address on the package was yet another company's name ( computer services }
at 25839 marguarite parkway # 204 , mission viejo , CA 92692
It appears that these crooks are using diposable telephones so nobody can track them down .
Needless to say that I am a very unhappy and po'd person and am out for revenge .
