Ski Butternut SCREWED my family
Ski Butternut’s Season Ski Passes - It’s a Bad Deal
The Butternut ski staff there was out in force talking to everyone pitching
to purchase a 2011-2012 season pass and ski free the rest of this season.
We thought we would get 5-6 more weeks of family ski fun –DEADWRONG.
Ski Butternut didn’t stay open to April as advertised; they closed 10 days later despite lots of snow still on the hill. Their explanation for closing early was: lack of skier demand.
They advertise they are family friendly – Ski butternut IS NOT family friendly.
.Stupid us, we paid by cash. If we had paid with credit card we could have disputed the charge and gotten our money back. I dislike companies that scam families.
Our family really got turkey-stuffed by the butternut rep who sold us on this crappie deal.
As we approach the 3rd week of December 2011 – Skibutternut is still Closed for Skiing
NEVER AGAIN BUY A SEASON PASS FROM SKI BUTTERNUT
They promote ‘CHEAP PRICES’ & 4.5 mo of skiing – you’re lucky to get 2 / mos
I would Not Recommend Skibutternut.com; it’s “Family Unfriendly”.
If you do ski here, always use your credit card so you have protection and the option
to dispute the charge if the ski conditions are bad or their food is undercooked.
We paid a stiff price for our mistake.
Never trust a ski sales rep – they’re worse than a car salesman!
Hope everyone learns from my $1,400 mistake. It was, and still is painful!
