Sirius Lifetime Subscription Joke Internet

A few years ago we purchased a couple of Sirius Lifetime memberships for $500 each, plus cost the cost of the radios, which were a few hundred more. Since then one radio's display has faded and the other needs to have the battery taken out and put back in for it to pick up the signal. Neither of the situations fit under warranty, but when calling in to solve the problem I'm told I will need to buy a new radio and also pay a $75 tranfer fee. My belief is that Sirius intentionally limits lifetime memberships in this way, by providing defective equipment. To add insult to injury they also removed my favorite radio stations that existed when I signed up for the service. If I had known they would be ending those two in particular I would never have signed up and paid well over a thousand dollars to this company. When trying to find information on their website, prices are not disclosed and when calling in, their representatives have a hard time communicating clear product and service information. I feel ripped off and thereby submit this report. Given the number of intense compaints about Sirius on this website, I wouldn't be surprised to see group litigation and some sort of settlement in the future. In the meantime I will not pay Sirius any more money for more radios, transfers, etc. until they fix/replace the junk they initially sold me. One of the radios is a Stiletto II which is supposed to be their best, and so don't think you will be able to spend your way out of the problem, that was my mistake (the Stiletto replaced a car subscription I had, then I traded the car and knew the other radio was junk so thought I could avoid problems by getting their best - their best still is defective, my mistake: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me).
