I called for warranty service on my 2008 Ford F350 that currently has 9500 miles on a 3 year 36000 mile warranty. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was calling on the last day of the warranty. They didn't tell me it was the last day of the warranty or that it had to be diagnosed before the last day of the warranty. The DID try to charge me a $109 diagnostic fee when they told me it was out of warranty by a couple days. It was obvious I brought it in for warranty service, I made that clear when I called, and it was obvious the problem with the vehicle had been there for a while, and Ford wouldn't work with me on it, neither would Sil-Terhar, this is not what I would call service. I was trying to buy a $3,000 extended warranty, but they never called me back each time I called to have them write up the contract. After my wife tried to work with them for a couple of weeks, I finally took my truck home, without the repairs being done and with a conviction never to buy a Ford again, or deal with Sil-Terhar Ford. This was the worst new vehicle experience of my life.
