| Sewer Fitters Dan Avshalomov Defrauded Me, Misrepresented 50-Year Guarantee, And Refuses to Return Calls Or Emails Plainview, New York |

| This company was referred to me by my plumber when I had a main pipe leak into my house. Dan came with camera and said I had numerous cracks in the main pipe leading to the street and that he could put in a sleeve which he would guarantee for 50 years, making it trouble free and perfect. Quoted me over $6,000 for the job which I later learned should have only cost $3,000. This was about 2 years ago. Then earlier this year I had another backup in the house, called him very upset, and he said he would come and take care of it and pay for the bill for the emergency plumber I had come. When I asked him how it could have possibly leaked he did not have an answer. After this I called him a few more times and emailed him, but he has now disappeared from sight. The phone number I have on my business card is disconnected and I have no way of reaching him. anyone know how to reach him??? i want my money back as it appears I will have to have the whole thing re-done. |

| Have you filed a complaint with the plumber who referred you to this crook? Have you called Arnold Diaz from TV's Shame On You? What was the name of the plumber who referred you to Sewer Fitters? A complaint was filed with the BBB and Sewer Fitters never responded to them. |

Dan Avshalomov cheated me out of over $7, 000 by doing a bad job and then after almost a year
of unreturned phone calls, he came back and tried to fix it. He was spotted by a Construction
Inspector from the Nassau County Dept. of Public Works. Seems he didn't have a permit to excavate
which is what he was doing. The inspector said he would let him finish since we didn't have water,
but he would be getting a fine. The inspector also stayed to watch and it became clear that he
didn't like the lining Dan had used and what he had done. After many hours, it became clear to Dan
that he was unable to do the job. He asked the inspector for the name of a contractor and said he
would pay to have the job done for us. He called himself and arrangments were made for the next
morning when we were all suppose to meet. Dan showed up to get the machine he left, drove it
away and never returned. The new job cost me over $11, 000 because they had to repair damage that
Dan had caused.
He bounced a check to Nassau County. I had a lawyer look in to this for me as a favor and he found
that they cannot locate him through his business. I believe he lives in Rego Park but I believe it is
hopeless and he is just a criminal. |
