In dealing with Securepay.com I have found them to be hostile, disorganized and most sadly for me and I'm sure many others not keeping to their word.
First, they told me they had an annual fee to process cards of $99.00.I was told this fee would give me advertising on the web and was fully refundable. It has been 7 months and all I have now is a confirmation number that they will refund money. This is after at least 7 or 8 phone calls and at least one and one half hours of my time! To date, this money stillhas not been refunded.
Now I have been charged for a $185.00PCI compliance fee. I was told when I recieved the letter and calledmy sales person and others in the company that thisdid not apply to me since I had just signed up for the accound and was good for one year.
Just now I called about this again saying I felt ripped off by them. I managed to conference my salesperson with one ofthe customer service reps.of this company. In front of me they told me that my sales person would have to file a ticket to get my money back and that this ticket would have to be tracked. He said he had no way of doing that. Finally he agreed to track my ticket. Then the customer service representative said that regardless of that I would not be refunded my money. I was told upper managementhad made this decision.
I said I wanted a copy of my contract. They said they had no copy of my contract! I told them I wanted to terminate with them and asked if there was a termination fee. They both said no, there was no fee. I have seen on other peoples'reports of this company that there is a hidden $300.00 termination fee. I'm going to get this one in writing this time.
This is no doubt the most negative, hostile, disorganized, displeasing company with whom I have ever had the displeasure of doing business. As best I can stop it I'm finding contracts getting everything in writing and terminating with this company. They are not a company I could recommend as one withwhichto do business. I found them abusive, misleading, (less expensive up front than manyother companies then taking from the back end).
Oh, I asked to speak to the president of this company and was denied the right to do so. This company has nothing but red flags and in a recession you'd think at least of them would not forget a few simple business principles.
1. The customer is always right.
2. An unhappy customer tells an average of 20 people. Thanks to the internet we can now tell millions!
Just this alone I hope will be fair warning to anyone shopping for a shopping cart!
Good luck to anyone trying this company. I feel like a fool as I do have a well developed intuitive sense. This company is one that for me has carried little more than regrets other than the offer of a low monthly fee. That is certainly not enough to remedy the considerable time, cost and pain I have experienced from them.
