I purchased a professional series tractor with a heavy duty deck for over$3000.00 about two months ago from Sears, within two weeks the welds that hold the deck to the tractor started breaking, I called sears and explained in detail what was wrong. They said they would send out a tech, in a week and I could continue to mow my lawn. The tech, comes out and looks at the tractor and says we need to order a deck, so he does so right from his truck. He also ordered two front tires that were going flat. The tires show up on my porch three days later and in the packing there was a slip that said the deck (shell) was on back order, so I call sears and they tell me the following Monday they will be out to repair it. The following Thursday I get a recorded call from sears that the deck(shell) is still on back order, meanwhile I'm paying to have my 4 acres mowed because I have a $3000.00 lawn ornament that the deck is laying on the ground completely broke now. So after going to the store where I purchased it and finding out they have a deck (shell) that would fit my tractor that they wanted me to take home, I drive an Impala won't fit, not to mention I paid $70.00 for delivery once already. So now they have to see if they can work something out to get the deck to my house and then a tech, out to my house to remove all the parts from the old deck and install them into the new deck. I came across a number for corporate office and talked to a nice girl named Marissa who stated this should not have happened and that the store should have sent another tractor out to swap, so she would take care of right now on the phone, so she told me to pic the tractor I wanted to replace the old one and she had it all set up for delivery of the new one and pickup of the old one on the 9th that's tomorrow I know, here's the deal two days after this was set up by Marissa sears called me with a recorded message that the delivery was delayed so I called and they told me they stopped the delivery because they wanted to find out what happened. So after three phone calls to Marissa and no call back and no answers to my many emails I feel maybe this will help. If I thought I could afford to sue them I would. I have come across many websites and sears has really lost site of their customers. |
