The following was faxed to Nick and to Angie at 866-876-7050 at Sedgwick CMS, who handles these “issues†for Sears. As per our phone conversation on 9/19/2011 I am faxing to your attention my bills incurred by myself as a direct result of Sears DEFECTIVE appliances that were installed in my home back in JULY 2011. My Kenmore Stove, Kenmore Microwave and Kenmore refrigerator were all purchased at the Sears store (#1764) in Rockaway NJ. and delivered to my home on 7/27/2011. Attached please find the invoice I had to pay to Tatariw’s Plumbing for $270.00 as they had to come out and fix the line to the icemaker in the refrigerator. The installer had installed it improperly. As a result the floor began to flood and the refrigerator had to be moved, and the line had to be replaced properly. (we have the part the was INSTALLED IMPROPERLY) I have been getting nothing but a run a round. Everyone I speak to tells me I need to speak to someone else. The person who was handling the claim, we we just told is out on sick leave and may not return. IT IS NOW OCTOBER – THIS PROBLEM OCCURRED IN JULY & AUGUST. IT IS MORE THAN FAIR THAT I GET REIMBURSED THE $270.00 ASAP. Please note the stove had to have a technician come out as it did not work properly from day one. In addition the brand microwave did not work either. That technician could not repair it, and it subsequently had to be replaced TWO MORE TIMES before the 3rd one finally worked. The technician had also told us we had an electrical problem which was the cause of the microwave not working. We had a licensed electrician come out and all our electric was working perfectly. The 3rd & final microwave was finally replaced on 8/24/11. By the way all these products were already on my credit card yet it took a month to get them all to work properly. I have taken off work and been home for either deliveries, installations, repairs or re-installations a total of TEN DAYS! I have clocked a total of TWENTY FOUR phone calls to Sears and their many outsourced facilities This has been a ridiculous amount of time and Sears has handled it TERRIBLY. If I charged you for every hour I had to miss of work due to your DEFECTIVE MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION / REPAIRS you should be paying close to $1000.00 At this point I would just like to reimbursed for a minimum of the $270 I had to put out to fix the BAD INSTALLATION of the refrigerator.
