Scorpios 2 Scorpios 2 Greek Restaurant Worst service and meanest staff West of Athens Lake Worth, Florida |

Let me start off by saying that the food at Scorpio's II is superb. If you get your meal to go, and have someone else pick it up for you, you are fine. Unfortunately, this restaurant has consistently had the meanest, most miserable, angry, unprofessional staff in this hemisphere. The first time I went into Scorpio's, I didn't even actually GET to go into the restaurant. I got one foot into the door and I heard all 15 employees inside scream "WE'RE CLOSED" at the top of their lungs. Startled, I looked at the sign with the posted hours and it clearly stated they were open until 9:00pm. I glanced at my watch and it was only 7:13. I tried to pipe up and tell them this but before I could all 15 employees screamed again at me in unison, "DIDN'T YOU HEAR US, WE'RE CLOOOOOSSSED!!". That was my first try at eating there. I wasn't even going to bother attempting to go there again, but my friend was persisting on going, saying how starving he was. So, we decided we'd give it another shot. We opened the entrance to the restaurant and walked in. Now let me just say, to compare this restaurant's size to the size of my own closet would be an understatement. I mean, this place was literally 8 feet wide by 6 feet long. A four-top table literally sets this place to it's capacity. There were no other customers in the place this time, as we looked around there were only three tables to choose from to sit at: a two-top, and 2 four-tops. Being that my buddy and I are big guys, we decided to sit at one of the four-tops. As we sat down, the miserable waitress yelled from the back cooking area "Come on, guys! Can't you sit at the two-top and leave the bigger table for more guests?!" Now, our only other option was to go to the only two-top in the place, which was pushed up to the corner of the wall. My buddy and I had to literally sit with our knees touching side by side as if we were boyfriend-girlfriend. Because there was no room on the table, the waitress said that we had to share a plate. Flabbergasted and annoyed, we asked if we could just sit outside. "Nope. Sorry, way too hot outside. I have to work all day and I'm not going in and out. Plus the AC will escape if we keep opening the door," she said. We sat there in disgust, annoyed as ever. I didn't understand why we had to sit nearly on each others' laps if there were no other guests. But, we ate our meal and got out of there. Believe it or not I ended up at this place a THIRD time a couple months later. I own a small electric motor business and I was taking one of our major customers out for dinner. He was in from New York and insisted on going to a Greek restaurant. Now, I guess this guy was into astrology because when he heard about Scorpios II he went crazy. He was so excited about the idea of eating there he claimed he would make one of his biggest purchases ever if the night went well. I had no choice but to go back and pull this off. We pulled up at 6:10 and walked up to the door. I opened the door for my client and immediately heard from inside a waitress scream "You fellas cutting it a little close, huh". I looked at the hours in disbelief. It clearly said they closed at 9:00pm that night. We had nearly 3 full hours to spare. Nevertheless, they let us in and we were going to be seated. I thought to myself "I might just pull this off, yet". There was just one problem though. I looked around the restaurant and there were no tables at all. "HAVE A SEAT" the waitress screamed at us. "Where" I asked. "DON'T GET CUTE WITH ME, SIT DOWN" she barked. I started panicking and just took a seat, Indian style, in the middle of the restaurant. "Is this, normal" my client whispered to me. I quickly gestured to him to be quiet as to not offend the staff. I'll spare you the details of the whole meal, but I should probably include the worst part of the whole experience. Cramped, I stood up from my seating position and stretched my arms up to the ceiling with my eyes closed. Just then I felt a burning sensation in my belly. Like my stomach was on fire. I reached down to feel what was going on and before I knew it I was holding a hot, gooey mess. I quickly figured out that when I stood up to stretch the waitress had cut open my stomach with the giant kabob from the Gyro rotisserie spit, and now I was holding my own intestines. Horrified, we ran out of there and I lost the sale.
