I went to a Scentsy party and got to experience first hand these very atractive Scentsy products. I purchased many of the items, for my home, my office and all of our cars (we have 3). After setting everything up in the house, I felt great about my purchase when my husband came in and told me how wonderful everything smelled.
Three days later...nothing...I thought it was that I was used to it, but my husband confirmed that he could no longer smell them either.
Not knowing our "rep", I called the Scentsy's head office. I told them my issue and their customer service rep seemed to be very annoyed that I called. She then informed me that they were only good for 40 hours of scent and acted like I should have known that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I spent $300 on this crap and it only has a life of 40 hours? I really hate (lack of) customer service reps that treat me like I am an ignorant child.
Our goal with this purchase was to have our home have a wonderful aroma ALL the time...not just a few hours a day. In the sales presentation they said they were good for 3-4 weeks. What they didn't tell me was that was only 1-2 hours of use a day.
I told them that I was not satisfied with the purchase and wanted to return them. They told me that I would need to contact my rep and that it was totally up to the rep to issue a refund and allow the return. We have had no luck in receiving a phone call back after we have made several calls to the rep expressing our dissatisfaction.
My suggestion, don't waste your money on these. They are overpriced and are a terrible value. If you want your house to smell nice all the time, buy a plug in. They ARE designed to run ALL THE TIME and will last for 1-2 months. Best part about them is they are a fraction of the cost of Scentsy, they will let you return them if you are not happy with them and you don't have to worry about being covered in hot wax if you bump into them.
Boycott the company. Stop rewarding poor performance until Scentsy starts making a better product and caring about their customers.
This company is a joke and a total scam. One of the worst I have ever worked with. Avoid them like the plague. |

As a consultant over a year now I wanted to clear something up. First off I have mine going 24/7. The only time it gets turned off is when power goes off or I leave on vacation. I have to put a new cube in about every 3 days. Those are the stronger fragrances not the mild ones like Enchanted Mist. Thunderstorm is a very strong one and will last for days. The whole bar itself will last up to 60 to 80 hours. The more you burn it it may not last quit that long. I have hear customers tell me they do and they have tried different ones. I do apologize that the your customer service rep was rude to you. They shouldn't have been rude no matter what. The thing about return policies is... it is up to the consultant who sold it to you. Scentsy allows us to make those decisions as it's our business. Scentsy Inc is our warehouse and we just buy from them. They don't tell us what we have to sell and when. They don't tell us how to treat or customers. We can't even really get fired from them. We can only get fired if we get our name turned in to headquarters stating we are not doing our job by others. Depending on the policies and procedures we may get fired after they have told us to stop doing what we are doing. We can't sell on Facebook, Craiglist, and by all means not ebay. However some do and yet can get away with it. Our product isn't that much more expensive then say buying a candle from Yankee Candle or even Bath and Body works. I have sold Party Lite in the past and it's not as expensive as that. However we are adding new products in March if you are interested. We are selling a line called Layers which has to do with body care and laundry care. In April we are selling a chocolate line called Velata. Later on in the year we are bringing another brand to the company. We have stuffed animals for the kids and we do charity warmers in every catalog that comes out. If you ever want to think about getting it again please let me know and we can try to help you find someone in your area. I am again sorry to hear your rep wasn't up to par on their customer service.

Wow! I am also a consultant and this is not crap! We don't make crap. What the lady meant was that the bar you bought, the scent is only guaranteed 40-60 hours per bar. Your warmer itself will melt any of the Scentsy waxes. As long as there is a Scentsy Lightbulb in it and a cube of wax. That makes no sense. Also, mine are left on ALL THE TIME! All the time! And I never have a problem. Ever. There are defective ones, but your lightbulb would not be on, and the wax would not be melting. I would guess that you bought a lighter scent, got used to it, or didn't like it at all. No where that I know would issue a refund on something you saw and bought in person and then just decided you didn't like. Except walmart I guess. But Scentsy is always being featured in magazines and just the other day on the Today show for how awesome it is, not to mention how much charity we do. If you have a defective warmer, and have the box also, turn it in and get a new one. Is that the problem? Did you throw out the box? And it makes no sense you can't get ahold of the consultant. We usually always return calls, at least everyone on my team.
