bought a 250 znen titan scooter from them free shipping. they called me back and wanted 290.00 more for shipping, I said cancel and they negotiated 1/2 price for the shipping , I said ok. Paid them the 100.00 for maintenance check etc, took one more week...when the bike came there were misc things wrong, clock didnt work, seat release didnt work, other things...shortly the bike shut off and wouldnt start...took it in to be repaired and it cost 185.00 (yes a new scooter) carb clogged and float sticking due to gum and varnish in the lines from warehouse sitting...there was gas in the block..they had to dismantle the whole thing to do this.. then a short time later before 1300.00 miles it shut off in traffic...this time it was the fuel pump. 156.00 (discounted price)
then the clutch vibrates horribly so I have to buy a performance clutch assy 450.00. I dont think this right even tho they go out of the way to protect themselves in writing. If anybody else has this problem with them contact me.. I asked for half of my money back for the repairs (just the first time) and no luck...I faxed them the bill and all. so Im out 800.00 plus what I paid for the scooter...How can I take the bike to illinois to let them chek it out??? How can anybody else?? They get these scooter from other places and dont care about the consumer obviously..I plan to send this report to the dept of consumer affairs in Illinois as well as federal...Ive been ripped off but Im not the type to "let things go"...
