S and M Moving/United Van Lines Phoenix Moving Company with poor customer service Phonix, Arizona

In August, we used S and M Moving Systems to move our family across the country from Arizona to Pennsylvania. The pre-planning with this company went good, as well as the packing and loading of the truck. When we met the movers on this end in Pennsylvania, we realized that the boxes had not been inventoried well by S and M in Phoenix, but the truck driver assured me that he was with our possessions the whole time and everything was delivered.

About 3 weeks later, as we were finishing unpacking into our 3 story house, it became apparent that a box was missing. I immediately informed the loss department and a search for our stuff began. Unfortunately, our box of pictures and a bedspread handmade for our wedding as a gift, never surfaced.

After about 4 months of trying to settle this dispute, S and M/United Van Lines refuses to replace the items they lost or compensate us. The estimated amount of the items lost is about $800. They have not given us one penny. Please do not use this company, go somewhere else.
