Hands down to the best locksmith in town! I've used Run Local Locksmith service yesterday when I accidentally locked myself out the house. I called them and said that they are coming in 30 minutes, they came a little late, but he sincerely apologized for getting stuck in traffic. The technician was well-mannered and highly skilled. I can assure you that they are one of the few locksmith providers in the city that really cases for their customers and shows real customers services. |

I live in Maryland Heights, Mo and called RLL tonight. It was the first time I had contacted Run Local Locksmith.
My sister had locked her keys in her car and was at work. Everyone had left the office and she was there alone.
I called RLL because the advertisement came up that they were "only $15.00 for locksmith service & 15 minute response - and no extra charges for nights and weekends. When I called Run Local Locksmith, I asked the Customer Service Rep what the charges would be. He said the $15 is only the service fee, after that it starts at $35
depending on how difficult the car is to get unlocked. My sister waited for 30 minutes for the locksmith. When he When the contracted locksmith arrived he told her charges would be $121.00 - She was alone, at night, in 30 degree weather. She was left with no choice but to pay him that amount. The locksmith had it open in 5 minutes. There was no alarm system on her car, nor was there a keyless entry - just a basic lock. 5 minutes is all it took.
The contracted locksmith company was Devil Dog Locksmith. Once my sister called to let me know she was able to get in her car -she also told me about her experience. I called RLL to discuss the situation and was given to a supervisor who had no apologies and when I told him I would file a complaint on the BBB - he said to have a great night and hung up. The advertisement on RLL website was misleading on 3 different levels. It took 30 minutes for a locksmith to arrive - not 15 min. as advertised. The fee is more than $15 - & no extra charges for nights and weekends. None of what they advertised is true.
It's really too bad that I was in a hurry to get help for my sister and didn't research RLL and the scam they are pulling on people. |
