RPM Auto Sales
RPM Auto Sales Cunning, Slick, Liars, not worthy, Dishonest ,credit report wreckers Flint, Michigan
24th of Nov, 2010 by User763348
At the end of 2007, just before Christmas and New Year's, holiday, I attempted to purchase a truck(Expedition) from RPM Auto Sales in Flint Michigan on Dort Hwy. I gave the mixed chubby guy my information and there was this real fat guy(Boss)sitting at the other desk. They were very polite because I was going to purchase a vehicle from them. To make along story short, after everything checked out good on my credit side, I gave them $200 for the down payment, and 2 weeks later $200 more dollars and etc. Altogether I gave them $800 dollars total for the deposit.

I went to pick the truck up and drove it home and noticed there were a lot of things wrong with the truck. I call RPM (the 4083 Dort highway location) and spoke to the guy who sold me the truck. He asked me to make a list of the problems and bring the truck back in the next week. I took the truck back the following week and gave the guy the list. They kept the truck about a week or week in a half. Rpm called me and told me the truck was ready and to pick it up. I assked the guy for a work order where they had done work on the truck, the salesperson told me that they didn'y give out work orders. I drove the truck back home and all the lights on the dash board came back on again and some of the other problems that was on the list, still were not fixed. I called the RPM in Clio and pretended I was going to buy a truck from them. I asked the salesperson at the Clio RPM did they give work orders to the customers when work has been done on their vehicle and he said yes. I stated that the RPM on Dort hwy said I"m not suppose to get one, and the salesperson said I should have came there first and The RPM on Dort hwy are crooks and the Clio Area branch do not do business like they do.I called RPM again, and the same guy told me to bring it back after the 1st of the year, Christmas hadn't got here yet and I said I'm bringing it back now. I took the truck back. I said to some people I talked to about the situation,I see what they are trying to do. They are trying to keep the truck so my 30 days can run out and I would have to pay for the repairs.

RPM had the truck again. Everyday, I would ride by RPM and the truck just sat there untouched. I called RPM again and the salesperson (The short mixed guy) said they are short on mechanics. Finally RPM called and said the truck was ready, so I went back to pick the truck up again. As I drove off the lot, the dash board lit up again. I took the truck back to RPM and told the Boss and the saleperson, I was returning the truck because I am not going to be playing games with them. The salesperson told me to take the truck to the main location at6120 N. Dort hwy. When I got to the main location, I left the truck running so they could see the problems hadn't been fixed. I walked in that place and you could have sworn I had a disease the way they were looking at me. I walked up to the window and told the guy I beleive his nane was Andre that I was returning the truck and he was very copl towards me and said sign these papers stating that you are voluntarily returning the truck and I did. I asked for my $800 deposit back because I hadn't had the truck 30 days and he said when you voluntarily return a vehicle, you donot get your money back. I walked out of the door and I spoke to this guy named Billy that I spoke to the first time I came to RPM and he got loud on me and said if you would have came back here to me instead of going to the other location, you wouldn't have to be going through this.

Two weeks later, someone rom RPM called me and said I was late on the truck payment and I told them I turn that truck in two weeks ago. They told me to hold on to see if it was on the lot and it was and they said ok and hung up the phone.

Amonth or two later, I got a collection letter saying I owed RPM $800 dollars and I explain to the creditor why I didn't and he said OK and i was never called again.

November 23, 2010, I went to purchase a car and the car dealership said I had a repossession on my credit report from RPM and I told them I returned that truck they didn't repossess it, but I still couldn't purchase the vehicle. RPM has messed my credit report up when I had decent credit to start with.
