I am publishing on Ripoff Report to inform others of the fact that money is owed to Seedguy Hydroseeding, based in Port Huron Michigan, by Rockford Construction, based in Grand Rapids Michigan, for work done in October of 2008 at a development located in Auburn Hills Michigan at the southeast corner of Dutton Road and M-24. The developer involved is Urbahns Companies based in Indianapolis Indiana. On the Rockford Construction website, under Subcontractors, they indicate quick pay to vendors. At this point, Seedguy Hydroseeding and several other venders who worked on the same job I did are owed thousands of dollars for work completed in 2008. Thats not quick pay! Rockford Construction Executive Team Mike VanGessel: As of 6-2-2011, Mike never responded to any emails I sent him regarding the Dutton Road Project. It makes me wonder how a company can do so well when a founding partner can not be responsible enough to communicate with me in regards to the money owed to me! Rockfords inhouse attorney Kurt Hassberger has contacted me indicating that the best way to get payment remains to work out a development plan for the remaining property. That comment makes me feel that they expect me to wait for my money until the property is developed. I am a seeding company, not a bank! The Urbahns Companies website. Here is a link to the Urbahns Experience page. www.urbahns.com/html_files/experience.html After reading this page I feel that I should have been paid on time. In my conversations with John Urbahns, he has indicated that the banks are not lending money, that there are significant environmental issues on the project, that the Brownfield monies have not been reimbursed, the partner on the project quit putting money in. I sympathize with the man but those problems are not my problems. Seedguy Hydroseeding did what we were hired to do and now we need to be paid.
