Rock Executives inc. Same scam, different name Rosemont, Illinois |

If you're like me and stumbled across this company looking for a job then keep looking. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owners last year when I applied for a sales position. Back then the company was called Marketing FX which you will find quite a few reports about them. The scam is true. They hold a second interview which takes usually 6-8 hours where they send you into a potential client and try and sell a product. Even if you make the sale, they wont call you back and you just worked a day's shift for free. I have not applied or visited the new 'Rock Executives' but I have viewed the site, not only do they have the same annoying layout as Marketing FX but the owner made things easy and put his photo up for you to see. Any other concerns you have you can just refer to the reports on Marketing FX. Good luck! |

Well although i was out all day they didnt have me try to make a sale and I met with someone named Lonnie and he seemed real helpful and really good at what he does. They hired me later that day and I'll find out for myself if its a scam or not |

I did a one week stint there about 2 years ago. I felt like I had to have another job just to keep THAT one! It mainly involves you driving to different places and going to businesses "helping" them get a better telephone package. I'm sure that part was legit, but you have to pay for your own gas, meals, etc. Unless you're a sales phenomenon who will start making bank in your first week or two, you're SOL. What a jip. And yeah, the "2nd interview" where you have to shadow another salesperson? Ugh. I knew I should've just stopped there, but no! |

I forgot to mention the company that spun off from Rock recently is MacNeal Marketing so don't get scammed by them either. |

Any company that sells the largest telecommunications services, but won't publish their portfolio of clients, is NOT legitimate.
Also, what "fast-growing" company uses @gmail.com for their corporate email? A little snooping goes a long way.
