I signed up for Consumer Credit Relief's (CCR's) program to help me get out of debt. Apparently I was hiring an attorney to settle the debts, but at NO POINT did I ever have contact with an attorney. My only contact was with a major sleezeball, used car salesman character, Ricardo Castro. I was told that if I had a problem, I instead would have to talk to customer service reps -- who did nothing for me. The whole thing seemed pretty shady. After a short period of time, I decided to cancel their services, as I felt it was a scam. They did nothing to help convince me otherwise that they would actually settle my debts - nor could
I find any information online that they actually got ANYONE out of debt. Therefore I canceled their services after paying an initial $950 at that point. Silly me to even sign up. Upon asking for a refund of this money, since no services were rendered, I was denied a refund. Actually, I called and wrote letters over and over and over again, and each time no one would respond to me. I even went so far as to hire my own attorney to get my money back, and Consumer Credit Relief (CCR) refused to even talk to MY attorney! If that's not a scam and a scam, I don't know what is! So here's what I've learned: RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I can only imagine how many people they have been victimized and ripped off before and after me. Ricardo Castro operates the entire scam out of a studio apartment. Doesn't even have any listing with the BBB, thus might as well be a fly-by-night operation. When I pressed him to provide references of other individuals he helped, Ricardo Castro couldn't even give me a single reference. Hopefully this company will get shut down by the authorities. I am out a lot of money, but hopefully you'll learn from my mistake. The moral of the story is not to do business with Consumer Credit Relief. This company is less than a year old (no matter what they tell you) and it is owned, operated and solely staffed by a conman Ricardo Castro. He has a sorted history at best in the industry. His scandalous philosophy is very clear...get the deal at any cost and burn as many customers as you can. Beware of this company and just say NO!!!

That claim is completely false. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS FROM ANY CLIENTS.

First of all, Mr. Ricardo Castro is in charge of Business Development, and as such, he's responsibilities are not sales nor talk to customers. He is responsible of the development of our business though, and therefore, he talks to a lot of companies that could help us grow to better serve our clients. Unfortunately, there are a lot of deceptive marketing companies out there who sell consumer's information without their permission and sell them to other companies lying about it. We have posted complaints against those companies on this site.

Secondly, Consumer Credit Relief does not process files nor follows up with the clients. We are partnered with a processing company who takes care of the settlements and does the follow up. I am surprised that the person making the complaint doesn't even mention the company who process our files. That's weird.

Also, our processing company DOES NOT USE ATTORNEYS to reach settlements, quite simply because there is no need for attorneys to negotiate with creditors. Our debt arbitrators work just as well, if not better. We actually avoid all those useless extra legal junk fees. Some companies use attorneys to comply with the Federal Trade Commission. We are 100% compliant, so there's no need for attorneys. You can visit our website at www.consumercr.com to confirm that we do not advertise any law firm or attorney program.

Prior to the enrollment of a client into our programs, we pay them a visit and perform a sales presentation in person, disclosing all the important points of the program, as the FTC requires. The clients who enter our programs are educated about the advantages of Debt Relief and the process of it.

We do not charge any type of initial fee. We are not members of the BBB because they do not accept Debt Settlement companies. Feel free to ask them and educate yourself.

If you have a complaint against our company and truly feel that we stole money from you and you can prove it, WE WILL RETURN ALL YOUR MONEY. If you are being honest with what you say, please offer a "Rebuttal" to this post, type your name and upload the Agreement you have with us and your
withdrawal receipts (you can cover all the delicate information so nobody sees it). After you do that we will then commit here, publicly, to refund all the money. Feel free to call an attorney, the local police, the cyber police, whoever. Otherwise, it's defamation and there is an angry person or company hiding cowardly behind the computer.

Thanks.
