I purchased $700 of radio equipment for my race team and returned it after it did not work, despite assurance from their customer service that it was their best, and most expensive, and it was sure to work with my radio. It did not work with my radio and I returned it after one show, as customer service said I could have a full refund no problem. I returned it with a letter stating the reason for the return. 1 month later, no refund. I followed up with a phone call and was told the employee I must have dealt with, Mike was no longer employed and that I must now submit a bank statement and tracking number to verify that such a transaction even took place. The accountant made me feel like a common criminal and a phony. She asked for the letter, which I could not produce. I faxed over the other info. She then called back two days later and asked for my card number. Two days go by and no refund. I called her repeated for the next week and was always told she was "on the way", "close by", "we are worried that she should be back by now", "just missed her", I must have called her on the hour and "missed her" or was hung up on every time. The next week, she finally took my call and told me that my refund was indeed processed on the past Friday, (its now a Tuesday). I inform her that I too have a credit card terminal and know that it would have hit my account by now. I ask her to email me a copy of the merchant card terminal receipt and inform her that I waiting for the email to come through while I hold. She stutters and makes an excuse. An email does come through, but its for a transaction that happened after that call, and its short by $150. She deducted 20% restocking fee and shipping fees. Shipping I can deal with, but restocking fees? That is just not right. Still waiting for a call back that will never happen. Save yourself the trouble race teams and find another communications company that is reputable.
